Although it does not suck, but it is functional, coupling, frankly, 95% is not needed at all. <Well, how? – you say. “So much time was killed for him, but it turns out that it is not necessary!> No, it is necessary, but, firstly, not in such volumes as you use it, and, to be honest until the end, then I go to them I do not use at all. By the way, one of my students, an inquisitive boy, apparently followed my actions with a sincere heart, and saw this – so I had to take him out of shock, because he tortured me hysterically, but I could not explain to him on fingers what equal angular velocities, which still need to be heard. And the truth is, if you hear these angular velocities of the rotating gearbox elements, then the clutch mechanism is not needed.
So what is the most important pedal? I started this conversation because there is a pedal that speaks best of all about the state of the engine. Through it, the driver can get all the information about the condition of the car. This is the throttle pedal. What kind of pedal? Well, or the accelerator pedal. If this is not clear, then the gas pedal, although it has nothing to do with gas. Even if the word gas is translated into English gas – gasoline, then it also has nothing to do with gasoline. It controls the vacuum in the intake manifold and no more. Well, okay, let it be gas. So this gas is the only most informative pedal, and some of you have already noticed that with this pedal you, those who drive, differently felt the car on different days, on different roads, when driving uphill, with mountains – she told you about how hard or easy the engine is. And, probably, you felt it, trying to move on the cold cold engine. We have found the main information center – the accelerator pedal.
Take the lighter and squeeze it with all your strength in an empty fist. Squeeze harder, so that the brush from the effort turned white. Keep it up. How much does a lighter weigh? No need to answer from memory. Now how much weighs a lighter? That’s right, except for the pain in the hand and the outlines of the subject, you do not feel anything. And now take a lighter on an open palm. Now you feel the weight? Right. Now compare where weight is truer. And also, pay attention, on the open palm a silent lighter spoke to you, told about herself, about her weight, and you could hear it. Of course, you can try to hear only yourself and nothing else around, but remember: the car was not created for you. And he needs your attention. And your ability to hear it. Over time, and you will begin to cut the ear all – even the most minor extraneous sounds in the car – on the go or standing still. And now the most important thing is to learn to recognize, hear their source and learn to recognize serious knocks and noises. Your inner attachment to the car will teach you this. A modern car is a fairly reliable design, but it cannot exist without you, without your participation.
