Several “magic” phrases that can reduce the cost of repair

It is no secret that some of our compatriots are so sociable in nature that they cannot stand silently for several minutes. If you are one of them, and when meeting with a mechanic, you are tempted to talk on a car topic, you must at least do it wisely. Namely – drop a few phrases that will force the mechanic, if you don’t feel full respect for you, then at least they will not allow him to look at you as a “teapot” or a “cash cow”. What are these phrases? This is described in this article.

First of all, understand for yourself that pronouncing the majority of such phrases is nothing but, sorry for the simplicity of the phrase, “throwing a show off.” Therefore, they should be pronounced in a confidently dismissive tone, not tolerating any objections. Of course, they may not make any impression on an experienced specialist, but, as practice shows, in many cases this method can significantly reduce the cost of repairs.

By pretending to be a representative of the fiscal authorities (for example, the tax police or the DAEC), you can drop such a simple phrase: “You know, we have recently covered one service station, so imagine – they cheated customers! Well this is necessary, to get to this! Now the case has been submitted to the court, and they will not find it enough. ” You can also say something like “we will soon carry out a raid on the service station and service centers, and then something a lot of complaints from people coming.” Another good option: “But here in the tax inspectorate the case was recently …”. Surely such phrases will make the representative of the SRT think and he, out of harm’s way, will make you repairs quickly, efficiently and at a normal price.

If you approach this issue with a healthy creative humor, you can arm yourself with good phrases. For example, “this is my brother’s car, he will come to pick it up with friends.” Few people will like the accumulation of strong men in the service station: what if one of them is well versed in car repairs? Therefore, the probability of fraud in such cases is markedly reduced.

If you drop a cue: “I used to unscrew the nuts on the BMP in Afghanistan, as you are now!”, Then it is very possible that this will keep the mechanics “from temptation” and “get rid of the evil one” – who wants to sort things out with a strong “Afghan “?

You can pretend that you work in a large company (or in a bank), which has a dozen more of such clever Mercedes as yours. “I came to you to do maintenance, and at the same time to get acquainted with your prices and quality of work. If everything suits me, I will recommend you to my colleagues. ” Hearing such a phrase, the mechanic will probably want to see some more of these same cars coming to him, so he can make your maintenance for a quite “democratic” price, hoping later to “recoup” your “colleagues”.

If you know the name of the director of the service station, where you drove your car, you can pretend that you are his friend. Whisper to the mechanics: “Ivan Ivanovich advised me to address you specifically.” It is possible that this will have its effect, and your repair will be carried out efficiently, in a short time and at a reasonable price.
